Project Description: In this project i made a few ligatures, figure ground reversals, stack text, and object substitute. I used Illustrator to do all of these pieces of art but i did get all of the pictures in the object replacement, i have a picture of a paintbrush, a tall guy, a smiley face, two trolls , and a cute little alligator.
New skills, Process, and tools Learned: 1. I learned out to take a picture from the internet and make it a shape
2. I learned how to stack words to make them look nice
3. i learned how to put text together to make it look like one shape
Self reflection: I think i did good on the stacktext, i really like my design that says yerp the best, i did kind of bad on the figure ground reversal because my negative was kind of hard to do, i did some cool stuff with the ligatures also , i think my best designs were the object replacement, i liked these a lot and will probably use this design type in more of my designs.
Grade: Id give my work a 7/10 i think that my figure ground reversals were the worst part
